Is There A Positivity In Times Of Darkness?

Did You know that Thomas Edison was afraid of the dark? Yes! Edison was afraid of the dark, yet he overcame that obstacle in a major way and invented the light bulb.

“Times of general calamity and confusion have ever been productive of the greatest minds. The purest ore is produced from the hottest furnace, and the brightest thunderbolt is the one elicited from the darkest storm.” – Charles Caleb Colton

We must remember that problems are the price of progress. Those dark in our lives are obstacles that we must learn to face. These obstacles are intended to make us better, not bitter. Obstacles are merely a call to make us stronger, not a quitter.

If you like things easy, you have more struggles, if you like problems, and learn to solve problems you will succeed. Remember, the biggest successes are the people who solve the biggest problems. If you have a dream without problems, you don’t really have a dream.

Don’t let the problems take the lead instead you take it. The obstacles you face is simply an opportunity for you to do your best. Let the problems leads you in a more positive way.

When I experience obstacles, I discover more things about myself that I never knew. I also find out what I really believe. It seems like every problem introduces a person to himself. How great experience that be!

“The ultimate measure of man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. – Martin Luther King Jr.

Sydney Harris deliberate, “ When I hear somebody say that “Life is hard, I am always tempted to ask, ‘Compared to what?’” We must face our problems, we should not run to get away from them all.

And we should have the attitude of Charles Kettering as he said “No one would have crossed the ocean if he could have gotten off the ship in the storm.” There is always light at the end of the tunnel and so there is always positivity in times of darkness. We must learn to see the lights whenever difficult situations come into our lives
