Here are six small things that you can do and be proud of.
1. Travel to a new place
It’s not new that having a successful career get us caught up in the humdrum of daily life. With our busy schedules and endless deadlines, we forget to experience something new.
Give yourself breather every once in a while. We all deserve even a little time to explore. Check your travel bucket list and cross-out one entry at a time. It’s rewarding to know something different each time you decide to wander. Meet new people and learn from them.
2. Making a stand against bullies
In this age of social media, we can’t help but sometimes encounter people that tend to give unsolicited remarks that can break you. These people expect us to just ignore it, walk away, and feel bad. But this time, never let this happen.
Give them the opposite of what they want and put them in their place. Standing for what is right and what you believe in is empowering.
Don’t let the words of other make you feel inferior. If you think you are right and have a valid point, give them a piece of your mind. It will make them realize that you are not someone whom they can just mess up with.
3. Being kind to a stranger
Do good without expecting something in return. Even though a small act of kindness might not be of great importance to you, know that it made someone else’s day.
Everyone of us is undergoing different dilemmas every single day. And not all of us can handle it well. Being kind to everyone around you can sometimes give comfort to those who are on the verge of breaking down.
Kindness can shed a light of hope to those who are lost in the darkness. It’s not a hard thing to do once you get used to it.
4. Ending a toxic relationship
Moving on is a massive challenge for all of us. And as we all know, things are easier said than done. But knowing you deserve better and acted on that knowledge is better than not having that person in your life.
It’s important that you got out before it’s too late. Toxic relationship can cause you too much stress and can affect your daily life. If can affect not only your physical well-being but also your emotional state.
A toxic relationship is like when you grab a knife on its blade, sometimes it’s best to just let go that to continue holding it and get hurt badly.
5. Starting a new fitness regime
Instead of having to wish for a more healthy looking body, work for it. Pushing your body to do work out and committing to it is tough but you started.

The purpose of finding a fitness regime that will suite you is that so you won’t have to feel obligated to do this like some kind of a huge responsibility. Take it lightly.
6. Rekindle a friendship
At some point, we experienced drifting apart from our old friends. We meet new people and became more attached to them than to the people we’re used to be with.
Try to reach them out and talk to them. With the help of social media, it is easier for us to connect with them. Send even the simplest regards. A short message can mean a lot.
Bring back the good old days where you had fun and enjoy each other’s company. Checking on your friend every now and then gives them the feeling of being valued and not being forgotten.
