You might have thoughts on how to become the best version of yourself.. But the question is how are you going to do it? It’s not easy to be our best at all times and fulfill our goals in life.

Becoming the best version of ourselves won’t happen overnight, you will have to think about it, it will take time and effort, commitment and actions to make it happen. Sometimes we are our own worse enemy when it comes to achieving our goals and success and living a life with passion and purpose.

I am on the same journey on becoming the best version of myself. And it’s really fun and exiting. I’m learning a lot every day and I’d  love to share this experience with you! 🙂

Here are the 9 easy steps to become the best version of yourself. I hope this will motivate and inspire you to continue on your self-improvement journey. 

1. Practice Positive Thinking

No matter how worse the situation is, still find ways to keep positive. Life is difficult, we all struggle. However, those obstacles make us a stronger and that will shape us of who we are. It’s OK to be emotional when life is too hard, that’s normal, but don’t get trap with your emotions, instead find ways to get out of it that will lead you to a positive thinking.

2. Accept Failures

We all make mistakes; however learn to accept mistakes and failures. Do not live your life reflecting every day how stupid you are for committing those mistakes, learn from it and move on. There are many successful people who failed thousand times but they never give up, instead they keep learning from those failures. If you have never failed, you have never tried anything new.

3. Learn to Forgive

Learn to forgive yourself and other people. Keeping grudge on yourself and to other people will attract negative energy within yourself. When you learn to forgive, you heal and you learn to move on.

4. Aim For Success

Success is the greatest achievement you can make in your life, it is something you can be really proud of yourself and find happiness when you make it. Do not fear the obstacles that will come through while you are on your way achieving your goals that will lead to your success. Instead, learn on how to face all those fears, while learning you will find yourself more confident and comfortable in what you do.

Believe in yourself that you can do great things and the universe will bring it back to you. You have to decide, make a choice, start moving and take actions. No matter how slow it can be, it’s okay, it will be worth the journey.

5. Mind Yourself and Not Others

Learn to avoid criticizing and judging others, instead learn to focus on yourself by achieving your goals. We are easy to judge others without even realizing that we are throwing negative energy to ourselves as well as to others. To become the best version of yourself, you need to learn to stop all those negative energy. And focus minding your own business.

6. Please Yourself

Are you the kind of person who always trying hard to please others? Then you will never the best version of yourself by keep trying hard to please other people. You have the make a choice to stop playing this role. Prioritizing yourself first is not being selfish, it’s self love.

You have to learn to say “No” learning to say No does not mean you are being negative, you are just starting to find and working on your own journey. Trying to please everyone is a recipe for stress, depression and frustration. So be yourself and please yourself and it will build up your confidence. Please yourself and stop trying hard to please others.

7. Focus on Your Worth

It is important you know that you are worth, know your value and focus on it. When you know your value, it will guide you to your thoughts, decisions and actions. When you know you’re worth and make actions, you will become the person you will be proud of and doing things with convictions.

8. Avoid Expecting Too Much

Sometimes we expect too much from others, and thus it causes disappointments and frustrations. Learn to accept things than expecting too much, and you’ll find yourself happier in your journey of becoming the best version of yourself. Learn to expect nothing and appreciate everything.

9. Never Stop Learning

Always improve yourself in many ways. Whatever you decide to be and whatever you want to make in life, find ways on how you can improve yourself. Learning is a never-ending process, and the more we learn, the more we become confident in ourselves. The more we improve ourselves the more we become comfortable in what we do.
