How do you start your day? Do you begin your day with bitterness, with joy or with anger?
How you begin your day, will have an effect on the rest of your day. You can bring joy into your life, by doing some small and simple things in the morning that will boost your energy and happiness.
You might not continuously be ready to change things or change people, but you can change your attitude toward them and how you feel about them.
And you will have control of what to expect, what you should do and how to start your day. This will improve your life, and bring you more joy and satisfaction every day.
Starting your day with happiness, sets the mood and bring more positive vibes for the day.
Here are 10 Tips to help you begin your day with happiness.
1. Wake up early
Wake up 20 minutes earlier than usual. This will provide you with some free time within the morning and cut back the rush and therefore the stress.
Once waking up, sit on your bed, and repeat in your mind several times the following sentences, “Today is a wonderful day. Today is a great day. There is a lot of happiness today”.
3. Expect positive vibes
Begin your day with the expectation of an excellent and marvelous day that will you into a positive vibes.
For at least a little while, do not concentrate on your issues. Just forget your problems, and revel in the sensation of getting a beautiful day, although you can not see how this may happen.
Most people let their circumstances dictate to them what to assume, feel and expect. You can reverse this process. Choose your own thoughts and feelings, regardless of what’s happening in your life. Eventually, if you persist, your life can change consequently.
Find a couple of minutes within the morning to stretch and exercise your body.
5. Have your breakfast
Eat breakfast before you go to work. If you rise a bit earlier, you may have the time to organize your breakfast before going to work. When you aren’t hungry, you are feeling better and happier.
6. Listen to your favorite music
Find at least some minutes, listen to your favorite music in the morning. You can do that while dressing up, preparing your breakfast, or on the way to work.
7. Read inspiring quotes
Devote some moments to read some inspiring quotes before you leave.
8. Leave home early
Leave out of home a little earlier than usual. This will remove the stress of being late to work. You will not need to run to the bus, feel stressed and nervous in traffic jams, or arrive to work tired and irritated.
9. Smile often
Give your smile more often, even for no specific reason. Smiling will make you feel better. However, smile naturally and with politeness, but don’t exaggerate it.
You will be stunned at how this may have an effect on the people around you and the way they treat you. When you smile, people around you may feel happier, and become kinder and a lot helpful.
10. Small act of happiness
Each day, do some small acts that will make you feel happy like talking with one of your friends, walking in the park, buying a slice of cake on the way to work, or buying a present for your husband, wife or kid.
Other activities might be reading a book once you come back home from work, or going to the gym within the afternoon or evening.
Starting your day with happiness will fill your whole day happily.
